Senior DOE Official in South Carolina for Nuclear Energy Conference
 
WASHINGTON, DC – On Saturday, August 23, 2008, U.S. Department of Energy Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy Shane Johnson will deliver a keynote address at The Nuclear Alternative Conference sponsored by the Medical University of South Carolina and South Carolina State University.  Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Johnson is expected to discuss the next generation of nuclear energy and its importance in the future energy needs of the of the United States.
